Zimbabwe is one of the most beautiful countries in Africa, with a huge variety of landscapes ranging from the semi-desert of the south-west through to the spectacular Eastern Highlands, with rolling green hills and jagged granite peaks. The mighty Zambezi River flows along the northern border of Zimbabwe, with many National Parks which are home to wildlife which rivals anywhere else on the continent. Victoria Falls is an unforgettable sight. The areas we visit in Zimbabwe are largely unaffected by the recent political unrest and we monitor developments constantly in conjunction with the British Foreign Office.
