Snorkelling at the reef off Caye Caulker, but everything was good.
Good at the transport, transfers and tour arrangements.
ATMs can be very expensive, take US Dollars, change them to local currency at a bank, rather than paying with them, and change back if you can when you leave. There are alternatives to the tour leader suggestions, if you have the time and energy.

Many Highlights!!! Including the Mayan ruins at Tikkal. Volcano walk in Antigua and the excellent restaurants.
Good. Approachable, freindly and organised. Prehaps he could have had a little more knowledge/info.about bus services. As this tour was from Cancun to Antigua (In my case) and i had to then get bck to Cancun for my flight home, more detailed bus timetables would have been handy, rather than being left to the local travel agents, who often have a different agenda when trying to sell you tickets!
Yes, especially using local travel guides and visiting local restaurants.
Yes. Very much so!!!
Research thoroughly travel options if you intend to travel independantly before or after your trip. Its is very difficult to exchange any currency other than US dollars in Guatemala and Belize. So dont bring Sterling, Euros, AUS dollars etc.,

Guatemala - I loved it!
Great. Knew all the right stuff, very enthusiastic, even at stupid-o'clock in the morning!
Book with ImTrav! This was the second trip I've done with you and I'm planning another one later this year and recommending you to all my friends. It's the lazy person's way to travel 'properly' without lifting a finger in organising.

The Tequila Express tour takes in some of the most impressive sites in Mexico. Mexico City is one of the most amazing cities I´ve ever visited. The food is fantastic, the sites incredible, and the people friendly. The ruins of Teotitihuacan are some of the most impressive pyramids in the world. Climbing the pyramid of the sun, the worlds third tallest, is an experience not to be missed! Puebla´s colonial buildings and lively atmosphere make for a great stopover, and the ruins of Monte Alban in Oaxaca are beautiful, plus we do an excellent bike ride down from the top! This trip is honnestly one of the best I´ve done, and would recomend it to anyone who is interested in visiting Mexico! Last year we decieded to add a little more to the already great tour ¨The Mayan Road¨. We now spend some extra time in the Palanque region of Mexico, and travel out into the remote area of the Selva Lacandona jungle to visit the Mayan ruins of Yaxchilan and Bonompak. In the evening we stay in a Lacondon village and take a hike in the jungle right behind your house! Its an excellent way to see some of these little visited, but incredible ruins lost in the jungle. While leading tours in the north of Central America I had some really fantastic groups, and they took some great pictures of the countries. I hope you all enjoy!
