Panama Reviews
Review 1
What was the most memorable part of your tour?
Spending 20 hours doing an eight hour journey! Two hours in to or journey we had to head all the way back to San Jose due to a mud slide blocking the road. We were making good progress until we reached the banana bridge - a truck was stuck on it. We spent four hours waiting for it to be freed. We never made it to Puerto Jiminez because we'd missed our boat and had a stay in an extremely basic 'hotel'. For me it just added to the adventure!
How would you rate the tour leaders?
Excellant. I have travelled with a total of five ImTrav tour leaders and I have no complaints.
Do you feel your holiday benefited local people?
Yes, in that there was a lot of involvement with local guides and we visited a number of projects that ImTrav are involved in.
Do you feel that you got under the skin of a country?
Definitely. The tour leaders are incredibly knowledgable, as are the local guides.
What advice would you give to other travellers?
Travel with The Imaginative Traveller! Go with no expectations and you won't be dissapointed and accept anything that doesn't go quite to plan as part of the adventure.

Panama Forum Feedback
Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and Panama, from the Rainforest Adventure tour, and the Quetzal Quest!
If you like beautiful beaches, crazy active volcanoes, and tons of wildlife, then this part of Central America is for you! Costa Rica is a wildlife photographers dream. I could only do so much with my little handheld, but hopefull these will give you an idea of whats in store for anyone coming to this part of the world. Nicaragua is one of the nicest, but least visited parts of Central America, and the colonial city of Granada is fantastic! Panama is a surprising country, very modern, and very poor at the same time. The beaches are great, the coffee is some of the best in the world, and the people are friendly! Here are some shots from the Rainforest Adventure tour in Costa Rica, and from the Quetzal Quest tour that takes in Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and Panama, and includes a visit to Corcovado National park in Costa Rica!!! It is by far the most beautiful National Park I have ever visited anywhere in the world! All of the photos are from our tours!
