Bosnia and Herzegovina

More than ten years after the end of a devastating war, tourism
to Bosnia and Herzegovina is starting to highlight what a stunningly natural
paradise it is. Combined with its
cultural attractions it is slowly asserting itself as one of Europe's most
beautiful destinations for adventure travel.
Most holidays to Bosnia and Herzegovina will begin in Sarajevo, the small but vibrant capital where East meets West amongst the elegant, wide boulevards and intricate, atmospheric alleyways. The country is compact and easy to explore, surprisingly mountainous (providing for some amazing hiking) and packed full of beautiful green national parks and thermal springs. Mostar is its most famous town with the bridge that made headline news during the Yugoslav wars now rebuilt and on Unesco's World Heritage list. Adventure tours here never fail to disappoint and, being a newly emerging destination, the sights are pleasantly tourist-free – for now.
Tour price from USD 2245 for 15 days.
