Borneo is the third-largest island in the world and divided between three countries - Malaysia, Indonesia and Brunei. The jungles that cover it are home to an incredible array of wildlife - see orang-utans at the famous Sepilok Sanctuary and take a journey along the Kinabatangan River to spot them in the wild. Climb Mt Kinabalu, South-East Asia's highest peak then relax in the Poring hot springs. Trek the Pinnacles Trail in Mulu National Park, follow the Headhunters Trail and hike through Bako National Park. Take a longboat to overnight in a traditional Iban longhouse in Sarawak and visit Mesilau Nature Resort in Sabah. Round it all off with plenty of fantastic beach time at Kota Kinabalu and the tropical paradise of Manukan Island.
