It was all memorable, because it was so varied and we saw so much…rain forest volcanoes, mountains, beach, city.
He was excellent. Very knowledgeable and experienced. Everything went smoothly. Very nice person, friendly, but giving us our own space too.
I think this tour is very worthwhile and good value. I liked the fact that we spent two nights or three nights in one place (except for just the one night in the San Jose hotel before we left) so did not feel rushed. There was plenty of walking and the hotels were good and it did not feel ‘touristy’.

The Ecole tour guide was very good and shared her knowledge and experience with us. All of the other tour guides on the additional trips were all very good
Tourism brings revenue into the community so yes.
There was quite a contrast in the areas we visited so it gave you an insight of the different cultures and ways of life.
I would not recommend spending any additional days in San Jose as I found it had very little of interest and was quite a threatening city particularly at night. You get very wet in both the climate and activities so bring plenty of changes of clothing
