Hi and good morning
I am very much looking forward to this trip in July. However am not sure of what sort and type of currency to take with me. Should I take local currency or US dollars? I have credit card, but imagine that this isnot much good in some places. Can you advise please?

Also, what sort of power plugs to take, it appears from my searches there are four different types in the four countries we visit. Is this correct.

Re: Four Country Classic Tour

Hi Halina,

Thanks for your post,
Throughout the tour local currency will always the best to have, However you may not be able to obtain them in advance.
The next best currency to travel with is US Dollars, you will be able to exchange your dollars for local currency on arrival into each new place.
It's unlikely that you'll be able to pay for things on credit cards at all! If this card can be used at ATM's this would be another option to avoid carry large amounts of cash, however access to ATM's will be limited and are probably only available in the large cities.

Once on tour your Tour Leader will be able to give advice on changing money etc.

For checking which voltage is used in each country have a look at this website http://kropla.com/electric2.htm

I hope the above info helps

Kind regards
Sam
