Can anyone give me some details of the Gorillas and Chimps tour. We're considering doing this tour whilst on honeymoon in Kenya in September. Do you generally get the chance to be close to the Gorillas or do you have to be very lucky?

Although seeing the gorillas is always a matter of luck, you do have an excellent chance of viewing and spending time close to the gorillas on this trip. The gorilla trackers are out every day with different groups, and so they usually know where the gorillas were last sighted. From there, they will follow tracks made and usually bring you to within metres of a gorilla family.
So, although I wouldn't by any means say a sighting is guaranteed, it is nevertheless quite probable, and a high proportion of groups do get to see the gorillas.
