Re: Kenya?
Hello lisalou,
Thank you for your post about the current situation in Kenya. I've just added 2 posts onto the forums regarding this - on our "Information" and our "Africa" forums.
To sum this up for you, the vast majority of the unrest has been centred around particular urban areas which are not visited by tourists; the main tourist centres and game parks have been unaffected.
We are in constant contact with both our team in Kenya and the British Foreign Office to evaluate the situation on the ground, and at this time are pleased to report that all of our customers are safe and have not been affected by the unrest; tours are progressing as normal, with only very minor changes to the itinerary in certain cases.
We have many groups scheduled to travel to Kenya over the next few weeks. In the vast majority of cases, the itineraries do not pass through the problematic areas and will therefore continue to operate as scheduled. In the few instances where the itinerary will have to be more significantly amended, we will contact all affected travellers to advise them of this.
If you yourself are due to travel to Kenya and wish to contact us directly please don't hesitate to do so on online@imtrav.net, or +44 1473 667 337.
Many Thanks and Best Wishes,
