On 26 June the British Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) amended its travel advice and lifted bans on travel to Kenya. Flights to Nairobi will be resumed, however flights to Mombassa are still subject to bans.

Our tours to Kenya are open for bookings and will be operating as normal. Our tours in Kenya normally operate from Nairobi, so the ongoing flight bans to Mombassa do not have any affect on these.

We have a wide variety of adventures to Kenya and other parts of East Africa, that offer you the chance of experiencing some of the best game parks and most spectacular scenery in the world. We hope to see you on one of our trips soon!

Re: Kenya is open for business!

Hoping to do the 8 day tour in Kenya soon- my travelling companion has quite a limited diet- no fish no red meat, we were wondering what sort of fare is on offer?

Hi Bucks,
Meals are normally planned to give a varied diet. Fresh, local produce is usually used so the 'menu' will depend on what's available.
Vegetarians and special diets can be catered for, but you must advise us when booking, so we can pass the information to the local operator.
Cheers,
Jane

THanx for that, one further question- I can't open the trip dossier- can you tell me what sort of sleeping bag is required- heavy or light, is an outdoor bag required?

Thanx

Bucks

Re: Kenya is open for business!

Hi Bucks,

I would suggest a 2 to 3 season sleeping bag would be sufficient for Kenya. In general, days can get very hot but nights will cool down. Of course it depends on when you are specifically going. It's always a good idea to have a sleeping sheet as well that you insert into your sleeping bag - it helps keep your sleeping bag clean and you can sleep in that on top of your bag when nights are much hotter.

Tents and mattresses are provided, so no specific need to have an outdoor bag.

Cheers,
Jane
