Re: Northern Quest Tour

I am considering this trip for the July/August timeframe. How is the weather in the 4 countries during this period?

Clairopatra, could you also email me a link to your pics please? Thanks in advance!

Hello Sunita

Thank you for getting in touch with The Imaginative Traveller.

Enclosed is a link to the country dossier for this tour, which will detail the average temperatures you will likely experience from month to month.

I hope this has been of some help.

Re: Northern Quest Tour

Thanks, Tristan.

I had an additional question. I do see that this trip involves a lot of travel in a bus/coach. How comfortable is the transportation?.....is the travel deemed okay for someone pregnant?

BTW, I have traveled with Imaginative in Russia/Mongolia/China and loved the whole experience!

Re: Northern Quest Tour

Hello Sunita

Congratulations!

While we do try and choose the most comfortable
transportation whilst using the flattest and least
pot-holed roads as possible, unfortunately many of the routes invariably will be uneven and will cause some bumps along the way. This is part-and-parcel of travelling in Africa.

Having said that, you should not experience any real discomfort. It will be more like a fun ride with beautiful scenery. I doubt you will be made to feel too uncomfortable.

Re: Northern Quest Tour

Not yet pregnant, but we are planning. And in case it does happen, I was wondering if this particular trip would work out or not.

Thanks for all the info! It was really useful!
