Thanks for your questions.

You do not require a sleeping bag on this tour since all bedding is provided.

The tour begins early on day 1 so it is advisable to arrive the day before day 1 and either book into the departure hotel the following evening (recommended) or book independently into a nearby hotel before making your way to the departure hotel by taxi or shuttle bus early on day 1.

Sorry, that's not very clear is it!

8.30am is the meeting time on day 1 before the tour heads to lake Nakuru. If you catch the absolute earliest arriving flight into Nairobi on Day 1 then you can normally make the meeting; however we do not recommend this since any holdups might mean that you miss the start of the tour and unfortunately time waits for no man on a group tour when the show must go on...

this is certainly much more helpful, am arriving the day before so will not miss out, but staying at a different hotel than the starting point.
