I'm doing the Tanzania Untamed this November and have heard that is a minor rainy season. For anyone who has been there at that time- how rainy is it? Raining all the time? Some of the time? Any suggestions on how to prepare? Thanks!

Thanks for your post.

January/February and June to October are generally regarded as the best times to visit Tanzania, during which the weather is mainly dry. In November and December there is a short rainy season where the downpours at short but heavy. Whilst this will not significantly infringe on the tour is any way, it will be muddy underfoot and so adequate preparations should be taken with this in mind.
