Tipping in Kenya

I am doing a tour in Kenya in December and there is no tipping kitty in this tour and I am not sure of the ettiquette. Could someone advise me on who we should tip and how much we should tip.

Hello again!

I have just replied to your other post. The tipping kitty for resteraunts etc is arranged by the tour leader at the beginning of the tour.

Thanks Kate, our tour documents say that there is no tipping kitty on this tour in Africa. Also as far as I know on the other tour in Egypt at the moment the only people on the tour are travelling with us (ie our friends/family total of 9 people) and we as a group were wondering what the appropriate amount for tipping is.
