Zanzibar side trip?

I'm doing the Tanzania Untamed trip in November and have about a day and a half in Nairobi between the end of the tour and my flight home.

Does anyone know if it would be practical to take a side trip to Zanzibar in that time? I don't know how long it would take to get there. Any ideas? Thanks!

Thanks for your post.

Realistically this would not be possible for any decent experience in Zanzibar. However speaking to my colleague who lived in Africa suggests that in the spare time you go to the Giraffe Sanctuary followed by the Blicken Museum finishing up with dinner at the Carnivore Restaurant in Nairobi. Sounds like a good plan!
