Hello

I have booked my flights for Beijing and I will be arriving on the 29th September (saturday)in the morning. As the meeting poing is Sunday evening at the hotel I will have two full days to explore the city and I was wondering if I can book tours with you or I have to arrange this locally ?

Hi. You can book a day tour to see the major attractions. As you will not have much time when you arrive, you can book on-line in advance. Pick and drop off is usually available from your hotel. Chinatour.net is one web site. I have used Panda Tours, and Grayline in the past.

Thanks for your question.

I'm afraid we can't prearrange a short city tour for you in Beijing but as RoverRob says, it's very easy to arrange locally.

If you head over to Tiananmen Square there are some local tour companies dotted around the square who can organise daytrips for you. Just about every taxi driver in Beijing can get you to Tiananmen Square and it's not far from any of the hotels that we use in Beijing.

Be prepared for lots of walking when you get to the square - it's HUGE!
