Does anyone know what the weather conditions are like in China in december? as i would like to visit china sometime soon and the only time i know can get off work for the next 16 months is december, anything else will be very short notice.
Do any good trips go in december or is the weather not suitable? I wanted a trip that included Bejing and the great wall and the Yangtse / 3 gorges area but have not decided on any other essentials yet.
If december is not possible how long does it take to sort out visas and flights etc and would any space be avaible in the summer if i could get some short notice time off?
Thanks for any advice

Re: China in december
Hi Mickey,
Great to see that you want to travel in China.
The weather in China can be very cold in December. Snow is common in the north of the country and most cruise boats do not operate along the Yangtse river between November and March. For these reasons, we do not operate any tours there in December.
There are many tours operating during the summer and many still have a few spaces
available on them.
The tours that travel to the places that you want to see are:
China Unmasked
China Explored
Beijing to Kathmandu
Journey across China
Yangtse and the Southwest
China Insight
You can obtain a Chinese Visa within a few working days from most Chinese Embassies or consulates around the world. Some of these offer an express service.
With flights I recommend that you try to book as soon as possible as most flights are arriving here very full.
I hope this helps
Kind Regards
