I'm thinking of doing one of these trips. Can anyone advise which is better and what a good time to go would be.

I'm thinking of travelling between April-June and trying to establish if it will be too hot/wet.

We did the Journey Across China in April and that was a great time to travel in China. It was coolish in the north at the start of the trip, but warmer in the south. It would have been perfect if we could have done this trip from south to north, but as it was the weather was great.

Hi there Esyl

Just got back from China Explored tour (North - South) and found it fantastic. Did the "hard stuff' like walking the Great Wall, at the start of the trip and spent a few days in Yangshou relaxing and soaking up the atmosphere, towards the end of the trip.

Whatever trip you choose I am sure that you will enjoy.....I had a wonderful time.
