Hello Srend. I'll arrive sundaymorning and was thinking of visiting the summer palace as well. Would be nice to have some company. Where are you flying from?

I am arriving from Xian at just after midday and staying that night at the tiantan hotel
so maybe we can meet up on sunday afternoon which would be good,as I will have been travelling alone for 3 weeks by then!

So Sue, have you been travelling in China the past three weeks? Seen lots! Looking forward to hearing all your stories. I believe there are 2 groups doing the explored tour 4 nov.

Most probably will be half dead - coming in from London (via Frankfurt) but still keen to see as much as I can. I can always catch up on sleep on one of our epic train journeys.
Meet you at the Titantan hotel at what time?

Monday sounds good to go to the summer palace when you have caught your breath, heidi.See you then or Sunday Katja, you will probably have to shut me up about my travels so far and 3 weeks does not make you an old China hand!

One day of hard labour to go (uche) and then I'm off, hurraaaay. More than happy to hear a monologue about travelling through China on Sunday while I recover from a very direct Manchester-Londen-Amsterdam-Beijing route. Perhaps it's easier to meet up on monday soon after you've checked in, Heidy, rather then meeting at a certain hour. You might want to sit on the bed for 1 minute and then fall asleep without waking up despite our banging on the door.
