I just signed up for the trip leaving 3 April. New to IT but looking forward to it, especially the camel safari. Will be arriving from the states Sat night so would like to team up and explore Old Delhi (or whatever) on Sun before the trip officially commences. Anyone interested please reply to me at . Question: has anyone on any India trip had problems with theft? It is recommended that suitcase be kept locked at all times, but my backpack does not have means to do so. Would much rather use it than conventional luggage.

Thanks,

Pete

Re: Deserts, Forts & Palaces

Hello,

Backpacks are fine for travelling, many of which can be locked. Have a look at putting a pad lock on the zips.

It's always good practice to keep copies of documentation and spare monies should theft occur in your home country or when travelling aboard.

Happy travelling.
