Hi,
I am booked on the Everest Base Camp trek starting October 12th. I was wondering how the bookings were going for this tour.
How long do you spend at Base Camp before returning and can you wander around up there for a while - maybe go up near the icefall?
Is there a place on the way up that you can recharge the batteries on your camcorder?

Re: Everest Base Camp

Hi Norm C

The amount of time spent at base camp is dependent on how long it takes to get there and the weather conditions.

Electricity is in short supply in Nepal. On some occasions you will be camping near to teahouses but there is no guarantee that they will have electricity. If they do have electricity there is no guarantee that they will let you use it.

I would suggest that you therefore equip yourself with spare batteries.

The bookings for this tour are going fine and we anticipate more bookings in the coming months.

Regards
