Hi there,
I am just wondering whether this tour regularly goes ahead or whether it sometimes does not recieve enough bookings? Just concerned it could get cancelled after I've already booked the flights!
Have travel for early 2008 in mind so would be looking to take the trip leaving in Feb or early March.
Any help would be great thanks!
Mike.

Re: The Great China Adventure
Hi Mike,
Thanks for your question.
This tour normally does operate but like all tours there are occasions when unfortunately we do not achieve 4 bookings and the tour does not run. It is a popular tour in China. We try to limit the departures each year to meet demand and thus reduce the chances of the tour not operating on any given date.
My advice is to purchase a flexible flight ticket if fewer than 4 people have booked on the date that you are looking at when you come to purchase your flights. Although these normally cost a little extra you are paying for the peace of mind that in the unlikely event that your tour was cancelled you would not be left with non-refundable flights.
What's more, if you are flying from the UK and let us arrange the flights for your tour for you WE will cover any amendment or cancellation fees imposed by the airline in the event of your tour being cancelled because of low numbers. We appreciate that nobody likes to change their travel plans once they have booked but at least you wouldn't be out of pocket if you book your tour and flight this way.
If you are looking at travelling in 2008 it is worth noting that most airlines do not offer flights more than 11 months/330 days in advance of travel so flights for February next year should start to become available either on our own flight system or elsewhere by around mid-March this year.
It's also worth bearing in mind that the earlier you book onto the tour, the less chance there is of knowing the final number of people who will be travelling on your tour so no bookings at an early stage does not necessarily mean that the tour will not operate
I hope this helps.
Regards,
Brendan
