hi. i'm doing journey across china with imaginative travel and spending a 5 days in hong kong after.

can anyone suggest 'must see' or 'must do' things in hong kong?

i have been researching hk but suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi travel11 !

Shopping shopping !!! Nathan Road, Stanley Market, Causeway Bay .... the list goes on.

Seriously, I would definitely recommend a ride on the ferry across Hong Kong Harbour. It's so cheap and you get amazing views from the ferry.

Also head up to Victoria Peak on Hong Kong Island to check out all those high-rise bldgs.

If you have time, head over to Lantau Island for the big Budha and a meal of vegetarian meal with the monks.

Food - definitely have yum cha one day.
