Hi,
I am booked on the Overland to Lhasa trip on Oct 13th.
I was wondering - how cold does it normally get in Nepal / Tibet during this time? Will I need to buy a windsheet jacket or just a fleece and jumpers?
Also - the notes suggest bringing some good sunglasses? Does this mean poloarized lenses or just a good quality make?
Many Thanks
Lucy

Re: How cold does it get in Nepal & Tibet
Hi Lucy,
It is best to be prepared for warm humid weather as well as cool nights, there is sometimes the possibility of frost on higher ground in October. i would advise a good fleece to wear on cooler nights, the type that you could weather under a waterproof light weight jacket.
Ant sunglasses are fine as long as they provide adequate UV protection.
I hope that helps, have a great trip
Kate
