Hello
I am planning to do the Ladakh trek. Is end of July early August advisable in terms of weather?

Do I need to prepare against malaria long time before
I am fit but did not trek very much. What is the minimum level required?

Thanks a lot

Re: India.Ladakh

Hi Brice,

Our Ladakh tour is situated in the North of India where the monsoon does not hit as hard as in the South of the country. Although you will see some rain, it won't dominate your trip.

For all information regarding medical requirements for the tour you should refer to your family doctor.

The trek grade on this tour is B which means moderate. This will be a mixture of longer and shorter walks, usually around 7 hours a day. If you have Hill Walking experience then it will come in very handy. You will need to be fit to get the most out of this tour, so you may want to start preparing now.
