I'm not on your trip but did this tour a couple of years ago - you'll love it. It's a great variety of what China has to offer. Slip in some padded cycling shorts for Yangshuo though.

Just returned earlier this week from Journey Across China tour. The trip was absolutely amazing... the "trip of a lifetime"! You will see so much and have such a variety of experiences. Im TRav does a wonderful job of helping you get all kinds of experiences but in a well-organized way! Our tour leader was terrific, very professional and very friendly.Plan on hiking, biking, and even horseback riding, as well as exploring China in both the urban and rural sections. We had a fantastic time!!!! Enjoy!

My brother and I are joining the Sept 19th Journey Across China and after reading these posts I can't wait! We are leaving in 8 days, visiting Hong Kong and Shanghai before hand.
