I am supposed to be flying to Nepal on May 16th for an 8 day trip, so far I haven't actually booked anything I've just reserved. There are rumours of another bandh beginning on May 15th and I feel apprehensive about going now. Has anyone been in Nepal during a recent bandh and if so how were they affected? If the situation worsens I'm now thinking that maybe I go to India instead, has anyone got any feedback about any of the wildlife parks - Corbett/Kanha/Ranthambore/Bandhavgarh and any good places to stay or local travel agents?

Dear Tania

If you have concerns about whether or not to travel to a destination then you should seek advice from your own embassy or consulate advisory service.

A good source of advice is the Foreign & Commonwealth Office London.

You can visit their website via the below and get up-to-date travel advice.
