Hey! I've just booked myself a place on this trip, leaving on 11th July 2004. Has anyone already done it? What was it like? or is anyone else here booked on the same tour? My specific queries to anyone who's done it already are:
- what's the acoommodation like?
- is the heat unbearable in July? Will it rain constantly being that it's monsoon season?
- did you get ill? (my big worry!)
and finally, did you encounter any spiders?! Probably sounds like a stupid question but I am totally phobic of them and it is my biggest fear about going on an 'adventure' style trip in India. Don't mind basic accommodation etc. but do mind insects in my room! How much of that type of 'wildlife' am I likely to encounter?!
Any other general recommendations, observations or tips would be greatly appreciated!
