We just got back from this fab. tour - it was great. The only thing missing was the tourists which was very lovely for us because every where we went there was no one else to get in our way but I don't see the locals seeing it the same way.
They are desperate for tourists in the hotels and shops - people are being laid off for lack of trade. They all asked us to tell our friends to go to Sri Lanka so I'm keeping my promise by letting Imtrav travellers know that Sri Lanka is a beautiful country and this tour is well away from the beaches of the south and east.

Alan and I have just come back from the same trip as Lorna and Soph. It's a really good trip and we had a super time. We were overwhelmed by the friendliness of the Sri Lankan people. They desperately need the tourists to return as soon as possible. Please tell everyone you know that it is perfectly safe for them to go and they will have a great time. Don't make any more donations just go and spend your money there!!! That's the best thing you can do.
