Preparing for Nepal Panorama (9th January)

Hi, this will be my first trek so i'm just after a specific indication as to the size of bags that you recommend taking on the trek - i.e. in terms of litres. Just so i know what i'm packing into or what i should bring - Back Packs / Ruck Sack / Day Pack.

Do you reckon we should be able to get everything for the whole duration of our stay in Kathmandu and Nepal into both the specified back pack and day pack that the itinary suggests if we pretty much stick to the Essential and Recommended items?

I know that we're limited by weight and there are also many different sizes of bags, so I'd like to get the right sized back pack and day pack and would prefer not to have to leave anything anywhere, unless you don't feel it would be necessary.
