Heard that Confucius tomb and family mansions might be closed in Qufu due to a botched restoration attempt by an unqualified company. Is this true and if so, what does the china tour that goes to Qufu see? Does it just bypass the city altogether?

Hi there,

There was a small incident at the beginning of the year. A cleaner used running water intead of the proper cleaning materials and some minor damage was caused.

This has now been put right and our tours will continue to visit Qufu as planned.
