I’m booked onto the Sichuan tour in April 09 and thought I’d put a post up to see who also is? As I’m very excited about the whole thing, and am going on my own.
I also thought I’d ask if it’s too early to be worrying about the tour NOT taking place? There are only 4 people booked onto it and there has to be a minimum of 6 for it to run. I’ve been reassured it’s still early days with 5 months to go, but with the credit crunch etc I can’t help but fear the worst!! xx

Mt name is Tristan and I am a consultatnt for The Imaginative Traveller.
We try at all times to allow a tour to run, even if is hasn't quite met our ideal minimum number of 6 bookings. Many a time we will actually still run a trip if the number of bookings is 4 or 5. However, I am pleased to tell you that your tour departure now has a total of 5 confirmed bookings. This should in almost all cases confirm it to run, but with over 4 months to go before departure I honestly forsee several others booking with you. People generally just need time to confirm their holiday schedule with their place of work.
