Hey there,
I recently travelled to Nepal alone and found the group to be heaps of fun and it made no difference that i wasnt with anyone.
Honestly dont worry about it, you'll have a blast!!

If you are open to the whole experience of travel then whether you are alone or with friends, you will have a fantastic time.

Yep, I'll back that up.
I went to China a few years ago and was in India and Nepal last Christmas time. All trips on my own and all good fun (apart from my knees packing up on the trek, but that was nothing to do with the people of course)
The group gives you people to share the experience with.
