I have just come back from the Annurpurna Sanctuary Trek in Nepal. It was the most amazing trip I have ever made and there were no problems at all. The only sad thing was that most of the teahouses were empty due to the lack of tourists. Kathmandu was also very quiet with very few foreigners present. So, if you're due to go trekking and are unsure of the situation, please don't worry. You will have an incredible time.
