Hi everyone,

Have just booked the 21 day yangtse and south west tour starting mon 22nd october and was just wondering if anyone has done this tour before and has any tips or if anyone is planning on travelling on the same date?

I know this question is asked a lot but given the time of year should I still travel for all seasons! It does seem to be coming to he end of teh rainy season then!

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your post.

Summertime aside, at other times of the year in China the weather can be very changeable and it's necessary to pack both warm and cold weather clothes. As you would assume it's warmer in the south and gets cooler as you make your way north to Beijing.

There are laundry facilities available throughout your tour so you can still keep your luggage reasonably light.
