Hi,
I'm going on the Annapurna Community Lodge Trek on the 24th April, I'd love to hear from anyone else also going on this trip as I'm travelling by myself from the UK.
I was also wondering if anyone has any advice for getting a transit visa for India as it looks a bit complicated?!
Cheers,
Linz

Annapurna Community Lodge Trek 24th April 2011
Hi Lindsey,
I can advise that there are currently 4 people including yourself travelling on the Annapurna Community Lodge Trek (GICL) departing on the 24th April. Hopefully one of the other passengers will come on and introduce themselves.
In regards to the Indian transit visa, we always recommend that customers speak to their nearest embassy. Alternatively, please go to www.travecour.com who can assist you with applying for all the necessary visas.
Many thanks and have a great trip!!

Thanks I think I've sorted my visa now, found it best to go in to the application center.
Getting excited about trip! :)

I would love to do this tour, you're so lucky! :)
When you are in one of the lodges (not sure which one), you are actually so high up that you can look down on airplanes. That is quite an incredible feeling!! Have a look at the tour overview page - http://www.imaginative-traveller.com/trips/gicl - the little black dot on the picture, slightly above the guaranteed departure logo, is a plane. The clarity is not brilliant, but it is a plane :)

Thanks! Yeah the pictures look stunning, especially pictures I've seen of Ghandruk & Pokhara! Can't wait! :)
