Hi Everyone!

We just found out that there are 8 people on the Beyond the Pyramids tour starting on September 27. My boyfriend and I make up 2 of those 8 and we're hoping to hear from the other 6 that are currently booked. So message us if you're around!

Well that's good, the more the merrier! Not sure what the person I spoke to was going on about then when she mentioned the Mid East Highlights tour. Not long to go now, got our vouchers today. Will have to start thinking about what to take soon! See you there.

#s

I've confirmed the numbers for our trip with my travel agent. There are 5 booked on the Beyond the Pyramids tour, 1 on the Felucca Sailtrek (that person will be with us for the first 9 days), and 4 on the Sailtrek & Sinai tour (with us for the first 10 days, then go somewhere else for 3 then return for the final 3).

So 10 for most of the trip - I think that's a good size!

Ouch!! That's a lot of flights!! You'll be wrecked by the time you get there. Not sure, but think the meeting might be the next morning so you will probably be ok, think they try to wait till everyone has arrived.

We have 5 flights to get to Cairo, I think a total of 15 hours of flying and 6 hours of layovers. We'll land in Cairo at 6:50pm on the Saturday. I hope that the tour meeting isn't too close to that time, i really want to make it!

I lived in Ottawa for 2 years as well. You're right, it is a very nice place.

The UK

Definitely prefer the version you were told, but the tour she named does seem to fit in with what we are doing I think, either that or I didn't hear her correctly! Either way will still be a great trip! We're both from the UK, I've lived in London the last few years, and my cousin sort of lives all over the place (it depends on the time of year) and not usually in the UK. She has spent a few years in Canada along the way. I have distant relatives in Ottawa but haven't been for about 5 years I think, really nice place. When do you arrive into Cairo? How long is the flight? We get there on the Saturday afternoon I think.

group size

Curiosity got the better of me so I called up to find out how many in our group now (had to give flight details anyway). There are only 4 places left, but there will only be 5 of us leaving from Cairo, said the rest are from another tour (Mid East highlights) that doesn't join us until, she thinks, the last few days.

Beyond the Pyramids

Hi,

Myself and my cousin are another 2. The availability on the site now says less than 5 places left so maybe more than 8 of us by now. I've started counting down the weeks already, can't wait, always wanted to go to Egypt!

See you there!

So it's you, your cousin,

So it's you, your cousin, me, my boyfriend, and 1 other? I was hoping for more but oh well!

At first I was told that for the first 12 days we're with another group, then for the last 3 or 4 days we split up and go separate ways. I guess we'll find out when we get there!

Where are you from? We're from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada.
