Hi,
We've just booked ourselves on this trip and really looking forward to it. Just wondering who else is booked on this tour or has any tips for travelling in Japan.

Hello sibarnes There are presently 5 of you booked on this tour. Not everyone checks the forums, but hopefully someone will be in touch soon Sarah Goddard Imaginative Traveller

Hi -
I'm booked on to the 5th June departure - just four weeks to wait! - returning on 20th June. I'll let you know if I have any good tips for you before you leave. I'm already in touch via Facebook with my tour leader, an Australian guy named Luke, who's really friendly and helpful, so let me know if there's anything special you want to ask about.

Hi David,
Hope you had a fantastic trip! How was it?
It's 2 weeks now until our adventure and I can't wait.
Just wondering if I could ask a couple of questions:
- How much, roughly, would you budget on a daily basis?
- How tiring was Mt Fuji?
Again, hope you had a fabulous trip and I look forward to your response.
PS. Sorry for the delayed response!
All the best
Si
Hi Si
To help with your budgeting for this tour you can expect to pay 60-90 USD equivalent for entrance fees and optional activities away from the itinerary.
These price give you an idea of meal cost;
Simple snack - US$3
Simple breakfast - US$5
Lunchtime set meal - US$6-8
Evening restaurant (dinner) - US$17+
On Mt Fuji the climb is from 2,380m to 3,776m - so it's at a reasonable level of altitude. Hopefully David V will let you know how he found the climb.
Have a great trip
David (imtrav)
