Thanks for the enquiry. I have had a look at the availabilities for the Jewels of Egypt Tour and at present you are the only 1 booked on the 10th August departure.
The Egypt tours are extremely popular throughout the year and the Jewels is our most popular Egypt Tour, so numbers should increase over the next few months. It is common to see bookings for the Summer months increase significantly once the Easter Holidays are out of the way, so I wouldn't be down heartened.

There are now 2 on this booking and you should see more joining over the next couple of months.
Please feel free to check nearer the time. This tour will close for sales at the end of July, so we will have a much clearer idea in June/July.

I've just checked the tour again and even though there are still 2 people confirmed we now have another 2 people holding provisional seats on the tour, so it is starting to fill up.
The flights are entirely up to you, you could wait a little longer to see how the bookings on the tour go or you could book now. If you can check the ticketing rules on the flights then you could try and get flexible tickets which could be changed if the tour does not go ahead.

Hi, I was wondering is there always a good mix of people on the groups? I am going on another tour (different company) and it's mainly consisting of Australians. So I am hoping that I might be able to mix with people of other countries too?

Our tours tend to attract a good mix of people, the main mix is English, Canadian, Australian, European. So you'll have a great opportunity to mix with other nationalities.

The time for this tour is getting closer and now having booked my flights I was wondering if anyone else have confirmed in coming on this tour? It would be fantastic to say hello to anyone before the tour starts as I'll be arriving a day before it starts and would like to see if anyone else is and perhaps take a small excursion somewhere in cairo before the tour up and goes?
Again, I am really looking forward to this tour (it's actually the one I'm most excited about out of three I'll be taking in my holidays overseas).

K8T_C.. you have posted so many good questions! I wish I were going on this adventure with you. I am doing the E&J Caravan in Oct.08 Apparently there are two trips running at the same time as there are so many. No one has contacted the forum. It still is so far away. I am so excited about my adventure. I have never travelled alone...well in a foreign country... for so long!!
I do not believe that you need a certificate for your shots. It is only for your well being that you get them. Are you travelling into a risky malaria area? Bug spray/lotion with 30% DEET will ward off the pesky mosquitos. Enjoy your adventure!!

Wow! Two tours at the same time? That must mean it's a great trip. Thank you for the compliment, I like to know as much as I can before going away, plus this is also my first solo trip overseas I'm being extra organised (though I still have plenty yet to do).
I'm sure we'll both have a lot of fun on the tours, Imaginative Traveller sound like a great bunch. I'm particularly excited about all the cultural parts that the tour will be doing. It's great not to do a lot of the overly touristy things.
October will come around in no time at all, August surely is, I find it hard to imagine that it's less than two months away now. It feels like only yesterday was February.
Anyway, I do hope your trip goes well and with the amount of people that are going on yours it sounds like you'll have an absolute blast!
