Thanks! I called Imtrav in Australia the other day and they said that 10 places had been taken already...
Is it a guaranteed departure with only this many people?

Hello Mimi

The 5 Jan tour date is definitely a confirmed departure. There are currently 6 people who have booked onto the tour, although some will not be joining until Day 5 of the tour.

You should be able to obtain your Laos visa on the Thai border. The cost is approx $30 US dollars and you will need to take 2 passport pictures with you. I would advise you to check that this information is still up to date.
