I have just booked this trip to Kenya.
I will arrive three days earlier in Nairobi so if anybody else has booked the same tour, feel free to get in touch!
It's my first time in Kenya and the hotel meeting point (The Jacaranda)is quite expensive so I'm looking for something a bit more affordable (and safe..)
If anyboday has gone to this trip and knows a nice place to stay in, please let me know.

The tour you are booked on is fully booked so hopefully someone will get in touch.
You could try having a look on 'google' for alternative accomodation.

An ok hotel is the Kenya Comfort Hotel. It's got a great location next to a shopping centre and also has a lot of cheap restaurants around it.
The prices are quite good and breakfast can be included for only $4usd if you pre-book. It also has a 24hr restaurant and bar.
As regards to safety... it's as safe as you can be in Nairobi CBD. I just don't go anywhere at night!

and if you do stay there, make sure you ask for a room not facing the road. The nightclub over the street can rattle your windows till after midnight.
