Near Southampton, on the south coast of England. Whereabouts in Switzerland are you from? Central America will defintitely be a bit of a change for both of us I'm sure! Have you done much travelling before?

Oh, beautiful, I believe my parents have been travelling there 2 or 3 summers ago.... I am leaving in Zurich, and as the town says working for a bank :-)..... Ohhh jeeez, it will certainly be a challenge. Last year, I have been with imaginative travller to Peru, and I just loved it! People were really, really nice. First, I was afraid of goint there by myself, not knowing anybody and sharing a room with a person I have never met before. But everything turned up just great, though I have not tried the guinea-pigs!

I'll be on this trip too and really looking forward to it. I've travelled a few times with Imaginative Traveller and always had a good time. I'm from southeast London and am going via Houston to Cancun. I'm going to get there on Thursday evening to have an extra day in Playa. I'm trying to work out the public bus to get from airport - apparently straightforward but you never know ....!

I did this trip a few months ago, great fun - you'll have a fantastic time! The bus from Cancun airport to Playa is easy: look for the ticket counter in the arrivals hall and ignore all the people trying to sell you a private taxi transfer, buses leave every hour until early evening and it takes about 1hr. The bus station in Playa is very centrally located at the top of 5th Avenue so your hotel will be within walking distance. Buen viaje!

Hi all,
Well this will be my first experience of travelling alone but I'm really looking forward to it! I arrive in Mexico on the Friday evening and am travelling via Atlanta.
I finish work this Wednesday as I'm a secondary school teacher so I will already be in holiday mode.Probably should be paying a bit more attention to the class that are currently in front of me!
