Wow - time flies and in three weeks I am flying out of BrisVegas and off to UB, Mongolia.
Anyone else heading off for the 26th of August departure?

I can't wait - though I am nervous - given that my idea of camping is rolling up in the doona on the lounge room floor. ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif)

It sure is a fun journey with Aeroflot via Moscow for many British travellers although Korean Air also offer a service now via Seoul too, not that that's any shorter!

And I'm taking the LONG-road with Aeroflot from Brussels to Moskou (1 full day in transit there! - guess I need to watch "The Terminal" again :-) ) to Ulaan Bator.
Getting excited as well!
Still need to check what I DEFINITELY have to bring with me and what kind of temperature we're about to face there.

Forgot to say I did my exchange in Belgique - just outside of Tournai to be precise. Pity that was over 20 years ago and my French now resembles a train wreck

Talking about trains, I'm taking the train afterwards to Beijing.
Here nobody asks me about any testicles at all. But they do all seem to know the food in Mongolia is not so... culinary.. :-)

I'm staying 3 days in the "red lantern hostel" and 3 days in a more luxerious one "yuewheizhuang" or something like that (treating myself with some "decadence deluxe" for the last days

I am staying at the Jade International - it is a YHA affiliated hostel in the centre of town just by the royal gardens or some such.
