I'm just back from a fantastic holiday - the Felucca Odyssey tour in Egypt. I put a message on the board here a few months back hoping to chat to people before I left as I was going alone. When I got there it turned out I was the only person from Britain! Out of the 9 of us on the tour, there were 4 Australians, 1 New Zealander, 1 Canadian and 2 Irish. The others all booked through the partner companies - mainly through Gekko's. Now that I know that, it makes more sense that no one replied to my thread on here before we left.
Don't worry if you don't hear from people beforehand though. Everyone on the tour was great, all similar ages and all like-minded travellers. We had a great time and I was sorry to leave.
