singapore to bangkok... questions!

i've booked onto this the singapore-bangkok trip, leaving 3rd June was wondering..
-is anyone else going on this? would love to chat.
-does anyone have any idea of where to go/what to see afterwards, i have about 9 days to spend in the area.
-is anyone else thinking of doing indipendent travel in this area at the same time?
