looking for additional travelers. My understanding is that the tour accommodates 15 passengers? Is the tour full? Where are the travelers from?
i wonder about sleeping accomodations on the train,
bathrooms on train. Is the toilet just a hole in the floor? Do they furnish blankets/sheets/pillow cases/towels/soap?
I would like some additional information on the dining car? Are we better off getting food in the towns along the way or buying meals on the train? Are there any ATM's. Should we have enough cash to last us from Moscow to Beijing?

Re: trans mongolian st.petersburg to beijing aug 29
Hi Jim,
Thanks for your questions.
The maximum group size is 18 and 12 people are taking part on the 29th August. Travellers are taking part from the States, from Ireland, from Brazil, from Australia and from the United Kingdom.
There are 4 people to a cabin and toilets at the end of each carriage. There is usually one squat toilet and one western toilet on board, although each train varies slightly.
All bedding is provided and you'll be eating from a mixture of the dining cart, food that you have stocked up on and during stops in towns and cities along the way. It's more a question of eating wherever you are based at each mealtime rather than choosing between stops or the dining car!
We recommend a combination of taking cash (such as Euros or USD) and an ATM card with you, travellers can be changed in China although it can be quite time-consuming so cash is normally the best option. You can occasionally stock up with cash at ATMs at the start and end of your tour. Your tour leader will be able to advise you the best places to exchange money whilst on tour and will let the group know when you need to stock up.
I hope this helps.
Regards,
Brendan
