Hi! Just wondered if there is anyone out there who will be joining the Turkey in Style tour running the last two weeks of September (starting Sept 16/06)? My husband and I are going and thought it might be fun to get to know others that are taking the same trip. We are Canadian and we have travelled a bit but we have never been to Turkey before. We have considered going for several years now but have held off due to some fears of terrorism; however, after reading a lot of information we decided the risks were minimal and it would be worth it to go! We are really looking forward to it as it looks like such a beautiful country rich in culture and history! We are also looking forward to meeting new friends so if you are booked for this trip we would love to hear from you!

Re: Turkey in Style
Unfortunately, I'm not on your trip...but I saw your post and since I live down the road in Kitchener I thought I'd say "hi!". I did a tour of Egypt/Jordan a couple months ago with Imaginative and had a great time. They're a great company and I'm sure you'll love Turkey.
Re: Turkey in Style
Hi! Thanks for responding...even though you are not on our trip! It is always good to hear from neighbours! Thanks for the good feedback regarding the company too! We have never used them before so we were a bit cautious; however, our travel agent had only good things to say. The trip we will be taking looks fantastic and I really can't wait. I have been practicing my Turkish for about 8 months now and although I completely suck at it I am hoping that I will have enough to get by..or at least enough to amuse some Turkish people!
