My name is Veronika. I m on the same tour as you and your friend. Getting pretty excited! I am arriving at Vic Falls a day before the tour starts. Where are you guys coming from and when do you arrive?

nice to hear from you. We are two friends coming from Germany: I'm from Cologne and Marion from Frankfurt. It's our first trip to Southern Africa und with Imtrav. We'll arrive at Vic Falls saturday, 3rd October. Arrival time is approx 1 p.m. Where are you coming from? Are you travelling alone?

I am originaly from Slovakia but living in London. It's also my first time going to this part of africa and also first time travelling alone! I have lots of friends who lived/travelled in Southern Africa and we should have a great time. They are all very jeallous of me going!
I am arriving at Vic falls at 11.30am on Sat 3rd. I was thinking of booking transfer (which I haven't done yet) but if you want I could wait for your flight to arrive and we could take taxi together. Let me know what you think.

Well we've booked the transfer from Vic Falls Airport to the hotel. But we could spend the afternoon together. I'm not sure if we will go the Falls in the afternoon or at sunday. We thought about doing the Elephant ride or a boat cruise on Zambesi River or something else. Maybe we cold decide it spontaneously.

How old are you? Is it your first camping trip? I've done several trips with Suntrek (USA, Canada, Mexico) and Lets Trek Australia.

I am 32 and haven't been camping for years! How old are you?
I have a dilema if to take hiking boots with me or if the trainners would be enough. What are you doing?

Hi,

I'll pack in the hiking boots. Think it's more safe because of the snakes, spiders and others animals. Also the trekking sandals.

I'm 37 years old.

Walking boots are a good idea as they give good foot support but good trainers should be fine as well.

I hope that you all have a great time in Africa- it is one of my favorite destinations
