I am going on the Wilderness Adventure trip starting on the 1st August 2009. This is the first trip like this I have been on and I am travelling alone, so would like to talk to anyone who is also going for tips or to hear their adventures.

I'm not booked on your trip but I have travelled alone 3 times, and this year is my third trip with im trav.
I just wanted to reassure you that you'll love it! I've met loads of different people and always got on with everyone, the tour guides are really helpful and fun.

Hi Clara! I think I will be joining you on your first solo trip! I am going on the same tour and am also alone. I am really really looking forward to this so much, counting the days, literally! Sorry to say though that I do not have any tips for ya, it's my first too.
I am already arriving in Bangkok on 31st so I will be a day early and will have some time to explore Bangkok a bit already. I will be staying at our "meeting point" hotel.
Anyways, looking forwards to the vacation and to meeting you!

Thank you for replying. I'm really looking forward to the trip too and am counting the days til I go (only 8 days of work left, woohoo!).
I will not be getting there until the first, but getting quite excited as it is going to be a new experience. You will have to tell me what you have seen in Bangkok when I arrive.
