Hi there,

I have never heard of your company, yet I have stumbled upon you on Yahoo.com. I am wondering what type of hotels we will be staying at... (other than tourist class - could you give me some examples - names of hotels - where you have stayed in the past - even though I realize that we may not stay there in the future).
Also, I am 32, and will be travelling with my dad who is 64 and retired. Is this an appropriate tour company for his age group - he's in great shape for walking, etc. But.. when I was much younger I took a tour with Contiki - budget, and oriented towards the 20 year olds... I am hopeful that this will not be the case with this company. Who do you cater to? What more can you tell me about yourself that would give me an increased comfort level with your service? Any help would be appreciated.

THANKS!

Re: About IT... thinking of taking morocco tour

Hi Amgeorgiu

Thanks for your post.

I understand your concerns about the sort of tour you'd be taking, as not all tour companies are the same. We cater to people from all walks of life, consisting of a wide variety of ages, and of all nationalities - not just young people. On a typical tour, passengers would be between 25 and 50, and come from the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand etc. We do however accept people of all ages, providing that they are over eighteen, and even accept older teenagers under this age under certain circumstances. Your father should have no problems - age rarely seems to cause complications within our groups, provided that people are fit enough to complete the itinerary. We have many passengers in their seventies who enjoy travelling with us.

We aim primarily to show people the culture, customs, and traditions of the countries that we travel through, with a high degree of interaction with local people. We try to inform our travellers about the history of the country, without shoving education down people's throats - we realise that people come on holiday to relax, too!!

Examples of hotels that we have used in Morocco are the Balima in Rabat, the Scherezade in Marrakech, Cap Sim in Essaouira and the Tomboctou in Tinehrir. However, these are not used on every tour, and if you did travel with us, we could not guarantee that you would stay in any of these places. But hopefully this will give you an idea of what we're like, and the standards that we set.

I hope this sets your mind at rest, and convinces you to travel with us!!

Regards

Jim
